JOIN CRAFT ALLIANCE

There are many ways to support Craft Alliance. Gifts may be unrestricted or you may specify your gift for a particular program or purpose. Some donors make current gifts, and others choose to satisfy their commitment over a period of time. However you choose to give, you can be assured that your philanthropy will help to secure the future of this great community resource.

Because Craft Alliance is a non-profit organization, most gifts qualify for a federal and state income tax charitable deduction. As with all financial decisions, we encourage you to discuss potential tax advantages and other aspects of charitable giving with your attorney, tax advisor or financial consultant.

Here are a few ways you can help support Craft Alliance:

Membership: Become a Craft Alliance member

Tributes: Make a special donation in honor or memory of a special events and special people.
Contact Craft Alliance about making a tribute or download a Tribute Gift Fund Form (requires Acrobat Reader).

Major Gifts: Support from individuals, foundations, and businesses are critical to the future of Craft Alliance. In addition to conventional cash gifts, Craft Alliance also welcomes gifts of stock and endowments.

Wish List: Like other non-profit organizations, Craft Alliance depends on contributions from supporters to keep the organization operational. Below is a list of items Craft Alliance needs. Before purchasing an item or making a financial contribution, please call 314-725-1177 ext. 321 or email jessica.arnold@craftalliance.org.

Gift Pledges: A gift pledge to Craft Alliance may be followed by an immediate gift or it may confirm your intention to make a gift in the future. Many donors choose to complete their gift pledge by making regular payments over a period of time. This method allows donors to give more generously. Whenever possible, Craft Alliance encourages full payment of pledges within five years of the original commitment.

Appreciated Securities: A gift of long-term appreciated marketable securities helps you save taxes twice. Such a gift will provide an income tax charitable deduction and capital gains tax savings.

Matching Gifts: Many corporations have demonstrated their support by matching or multiplying their employees’ gifts to Craft Alliance. Before you make a gift, ask whether your employer participates in a matching program. Certain restrictions apply to matching gifts; please consult your company’s personnel office for further information.

Gifts-in-kind: You may wish to donate a personal expression of special interest, such as real estate or a piece of art. To find out whether Craft Alliance can accept the property that you would like to donate, contact Craft Alliance’s Development Office.

Planned Gifts: Planned giving, such as naming Craft Alliance in your will, allows individuals to create gift arrangements that provide tax benefits for themselves and their families and establish meaningful gifts of support. Craft Alliance would be delighted to explore planned giving options with you, and we encourage you to discuss the applications of the following planned giving approaches with your attorney or tax advisor.

A not-for-profit organization, Craft Alliance will be sustained for the future only through the financial support of its members and dedicated donors. Funding is currently provided by corporate and private foundations, in-kind donations, program fees and by generous grants from the Regional Arts Commission, the Missouri Arts Council, and the Arts and Education Council. However, we cannot do it without your help.
