Summer camps are in session for 10 weeks, morning and afternoon camps are available. Each camp meets for a full 3 hours to spend on making exciting and creative artworks!
Please note: Afternoon camps are available from 2:00pm-5:00pm; there is no lunch care between am and pm camps for 2021
Summer Art Camp
June 7 - August 13, 2021
Draw up your fun ideas with a variety of pencils, inks, and pastels! Create a wide range of artworks; illustrate cityscapes, people, animals, plants and more! Color, line, texture, perspective and your imagination are all explored in this camp.
Dig into Dirt!
Explore fun ways to build in clay; create mugs, bowls, sculptures, and tiles. Learn hand building techniques such as coil, slab, and pinching. Decorate and texture clay artworks by using tools and colorful underglazes. Projects will be fired and ready for pick-up two weeks after the last day of camp.
Explore fibers through fantastic techniques; stitching with colorful threads, tie-dye and fabric printing, and using buttons and beads to embellish! Learn how to join pieces of cloth to create decorative and wearable constructions.
Explore hand sewing! Learn how to join pieces of cloth to create soft sculptures, personalized patches, and pillows. Decorate your constructions with simple stitches, felts, buttons, beads, and colorful embroidery threads.
Ink, repeat, Ink, REPEAT! From monotypes to block prints, explore a variety of mixed media methods and printmaking tools to create multiple editions of your artwork. Create colorful prints on paper by using paints, inks, found objects, stamps, and relief carvings. Get creative in the Printmaking studio!
It’s a bird, it’s a plane - it’s a new twist on comic book creations! Using pencils, markers, scanners, and printers learn how to develop cool action characters, exciting alternative worlds, and fantastic stories in your very own comic book.
Round and round we throw! Campers will have fun using the potter’s wheel and gaining new skills in clay; wedging, centering, forming, and even glazing with a colorful palette. Projects will be fired and ready for pick-up two weeks after the last day of camp.
Plan, Shape, Make!
Explore mixed media to create sculptural, handmade objects! Build with a variety of shapes, animal subjects, and fun patterns to design sculptures. The possibilities are endless! Plan, Shap, Make! will use techniques like knitting, cutting, pasting, dyeing, casting, and carving to make cool artworks.
Melt it Like it’s HOT
Harness the power of fire in our metals studio. Use molten metal casting techniques along with fabrication and soldering skills to create small objects from copper and brass. Get ready to “fire up” the torch and fabricate small sculptures and jewelry!
Bangin’ with Hammers!
Explore all of the tools and techniques to shape flat sheets of copper and brass into sculptural and wearable forms. Learn cutting, piercing, riveting, and soldering with a torch as you form jewelry and objects from metal and found materials.
Baubles & Bling!
In the Metals Studio explore the world of wearable art through jewelry and metalsmithing techniques. Learn to rivet, solder, cut, connect, and string together parts! Create wearable and sculptural art using brass, copper, beads, baubles, and found objects, enjoy the exploration of bling!
Explore the art of mosaics using small glass tiles, marbles and found objects to mishmash picture frames, bird houses, and planters in this camp! Learn pattern design and application techniques as you create fun forms surfaced with multiple ranges of color.
Discover how to use a variety of mechanisms and fun shapes to animate your projects. Create using exciting materials like wood, recyclables, corrugated cardboard, and paper to build kinetic sculptures ‘krafted’ to be movable and fun to play with.
Learn to work with a torch and molten glass to create small, sculptural glass objects. Explore a variety of flame working techniques and make beads, animals, and sculptures from colorful glass rods.
Hot Glass Jewelry
Play with fire! Melt glass with a torch and pattern, shape, and design into beads. String your colorful, textured beads into a wearable bracelet or a necklace. Learn a variety of flame working techniques used to make unique and colorful glass beads in this camp.

Morning Before Care begins at 8:30 am. Please do not bring your camper (s) before 8:30 am. Registration for Before Care is one week only; there is no prorating for partial weeks.

Afternoon Before Care begins at 1:30 pm. Please do not bring your camper (s) before 1:30 pm. Registration for Before Care is one week only; there is no prorating for partial weeks.
After Care is promptly finished at 5:30 pm. Please pick up your camper (s) by 5:30 pm. Registration is for one week only; there is no prorating for partial weeks.
