Wearable Concrete

Intermediate to Advanced*           3 hours
       
Concrete is a ubiquitous material usually associated with large scale objects. Investigate several methods of incorporating this material into small scale wearable objects through demos and discussion. Construction of bezels, simple molds, and types of concrete will also be covered. This material is rich with aesthetic possibilities including texturing, embedding, coloring, and terrazzo. *Prerequisite: Must have experience with the piercing, filing, sawing, and high temperature soldering of metal.
