Craft After Hours: Making a Printed Tote/Zipper Pouch

February 21

Learn how to print unique designs onto your very own bag! In this three-hour workshop students will be guided through the silkscreen making and printing process. Participants will learn to how use Craft Alliance’s silkscreen equipment and tools as well as the ink mixing and curing process when printing on fabric.
Participants will get the opportunity to print their own 1 color design on one tote bag and one zipper pouch (provided).
No prior printmaking skills required but having an image hand drawn or digitally drawn and printed will ensure you complete the workshop.
Feel free to bring extra blank totes, clean T-shirts and clean washed fabric that can be printed on and sewn later.
Students will need to wear closed toe shoes and be aware that clothes make get stained with ink.
