Glass Sculpting 33 (boro)
April 6 - May 11
Students will start with the basics of sculpting with glass on a mandrel, focusing on heat control, color mixing, layering, using specialized tools for shaping, and adding texture. Throughout the course, students will learn how to create patterns and animal prints using hand-pulled cane and twisted stringers. Projects include but are not limited to, bumblebees, fish, birds, elephants, turtles, fictional characters, mythological creatures, etc. Requests are encouraged.
