Position Summary:

As the Development & Special Projects Coordinator at Craft Alliance, you will assist in the execution and coordination of administrative tasks related to development, marketing, and communications.

 

Responsibilities:

Development Support:
  • Database Maintenance: Oversee donor database management and quality by eliminating duplicates, running record finder processes, and managing data clean-up. Duties include managing membership renewals, generating lists, and running reports.
  • Gift Processing: Assist in recording, processing, and acknowledging gifts and donations.
  • Membership Maintenance and Stewardship: Support with the renewal of memberships, manage expired memberships, and handle database coding. Aid with in-person sales during select events and assist with member events.
Marketing & Communications Support:
  • Social Media: Create content, take and organize photos, manage the social media calendar, schedule pre-prepared posts, and engage with followers.
  • Website Content: Regularly update content on the website (coding knowledge not required). 
  • Format and schedule newsletters and email campaigns.
  • Share upcoming events on public calendars.
Administrative Support:
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with different departments to maintain the external events calendar, event reporting, and organizational updates.
  • Project Tracking: Track and monitor tasks, assisting with information gathering, sending reminders, and ensuring project progression.
  • Mail Services: Mail merge, print, fold, and stuff letters.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as directed.

 

Strong Candidates Will Have:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Robust time management skills.
  • Proficiency in office computer applications (Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, Canva, Publer).
  • At least 1 year of experience in an office environment or equivalent education.
  • Possess a mission-driven work ethic with maturity, discretion, and flexibility.
  • Possess the ability to prioritize responsibilities and maintain efficient personal workflow.
  • Possess the ability to work as a member of a team, as well as work independently.
Preferred:
  • Experience with CRM (DonorView or other database applications).
  • 2-3 years of work experience or equivalent education.
  • Nonprofit and/or Arts experience.
Relationships:
  • The Development & Special Projects Coordinator reports directly to the Development & Communications Director. This position will involve working closely with the Development Manager and Marketing & Design Manager as a team.

Status:

This is a full-time, exempt position. Must be able to work flexible hours, occasional nights and weekends. Must pass a background check.

 

Salary Commensurate with Experience: Hiring pay range $36,000 – $38,000
