What are the changes to summer camp registration?

When is the registration period for summer camps?
Early Registration for Members opens on February 6, 2024, while Registration for Non–Members begins on February 27, 2024. You can register at craftalliance.org/camp.
How long does each camp last?
Each camp lasts for 3 hours. Morning camps meet 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, and afternoon camps meet 1:00 – 4:00 PM.
Is there any care available before and after camp hours?
Yes, Before Care is available from 8:30 – 9:00 AM, and After Care is available from 4:00 – 4:30 PM for afternoon camps only.
What is the arrival process for campers?
Please bring your camper into the building for check–in.
Before Care drop-off starts at 8:30 am for morning campers and 1:30 pm for afternoon campers. Regular drop-off is between 8:50-9 am for morning campers and 1:50-2 pm for afternoon campers. Do not arrive more than 10 minutes early.
Parents may stay for the first 15 minutes of the camp on the first day if needed, but they may not remain in the studio for the duration of the camp session.
What are the camper pick–up procedures?
Please come into the building to pick up your camper. Parents must sign out their camper with a camp associate for pick up. After–Care parents need to sign out their camper each day. Please arrive on time to pick up your camper, or a penalty charge may accrue.
How do I set up my Profile to register for Summer Camp?

What age groups are the camps designed for?
Camps are designed for ages 7-14, with separate groups for 7-9 years old and 10-14 years old. Campers must be 10+ for glass or metal camps using torches.
What are the dates for the summer camps?
Summer camps are in session for 10 weeks, with one–week half–day options available. Each half–day camp meets for a full 3 hours. The dates are from Week 1 (Jun 3–7) to Week 10 (Aug 5–9), with Week 3 prorated for a four–day week (Jun 17–21) and Week 5 prorated for a three–day week (Jul 1–3).
What is the cancellation policy?
Craft Alliance reserves the right to cancel, combine, or reschedule camps to adjust for enrollment. If Craft Alliance cancels a camp, you may transfer to another camp or receive a full refund.
What is the withdrawal and refund policy?
To receive a partial refund for camp withdrawal, send notice to grant.benoit@craftalliance.org at least 14 days before the start date. If the notification is received less than 14 days before camp, a 50% class credit will be issued. A $25 withdrawal fee is applied for all withdrawals.
What are the fees for camp tuition and studio use?
The fees are $157 for Members’ Tuition, $184 for Non–Members’ Tuition, $22 for Studio Fee, and $40 for Metal & Glass Studio Fee.
Is there any tuition assistance available?
Yes, Craft Alliance offers limited tuition assistance throughout the summer. Applications are due by April 7, 2024. For more information, visit craftalliance.org/campscholarhsips.
What qualifications do the camp instructors have?
Camp instructors hold college degrees and are practicing artists and teachers with background checks.
Are there any specific safety guidelines for the studio and classroom?
Campers should dress for fun (and messy) arts experiences; only close–toed shoes are allowed. Electronics (Cellphones, ipads, gaming devices) are not allowed in the studio.
